KAJAL
Oriental Luxury, Humility & Artistry in Every Niche Scent
Origins & Brand Ethos
Kajal Perfumes Paris is a niche fragrance house founded in 2014, born from a deep love for luxurious oriental perfumes and evocative olfactory storytelling. The name “Kajal” draws inspiration from kohl, the traditional eye cosmetic, and from the Arabic word khajal, meaning modesty, humility, and kindness — three values that influence the brand’s aesthetic, its packaging, and its fragrance philosophy. Based in Paris with development offices in Toronto and distribution/sales in Dubai, Kajal operates with an international presence, choosing high-quality raw materials and collaborating with prominent perfumers to achieve strong projection, lasting wear, and distinctive scents.

Signature Style & Standout Creations
Kajal builds its identity around rich, complex compositions that often blend citrus, florals, woods, oud, spices, and resins — creating scents that are bold yet balanced. One notable example is Faris (2022), a masculine and noble-hearted fragrance with brilliant top notes of bergamot, lemon, orange, juniper; a spiced floral middle; and a deep, earthy woody base with patchouli, vetiver, and amber. Another signature, Kajal Classic, explores the floral-oriental genre, pairing Turkish rose and orris with warm base notes like amber, musk, vanilla, and sandalwood, resulting in a seductive, opulent trail. Kajal’s packaging also reflects its narrative: bottles and art often feature geometric motifs inspired by palm fronds and Islamic architecture, symbolizing victory, purity, and refined tradition.
